This fireplace mantle plaque/sign makes a wonderful addition to your Halloween decorations. It will easily become the main event as your mantle display, or can be a stand alone or mounted sign.

The sign was created on a one of a kind reclaimed solid mahogany wood board. It is quite heavy, weighing in around 12lbs. I lightly sanded and painted multiple layers of paint that I mixed myself. I hand distressed the plaque one dried and prepped it for painting. I used a custom made stencil which features a cute pun inspired by the film Hocus Pocus. The lettering and graphics have also been distressed to give it an older feel with character.

Due to the nature of the distressed techniques and appearances, all signs will have their own unique look and should be expected to have areas of distressed paint which may include the look of worn edges, peeling paint, or jaggedness. This is all done in order to give the piece more character.
