An antique primitive style quill used in the days of spinning textiles. The quill is large, over 9 inches long, and has been wrapped in blue thread and decorated with various primitive, patriotic accents. I’ve included pipberry, a little bear, and a tin heart. The quill hangs from a checkered red and white homespun ribbon and can be displayed on a wall, in a cupboard, a bowl or basket, or propped up against something. It’s perfect patriotic but also year round decor. There is something special about using historical items such as quills for repurposing in home decor.
