Primitive Star Ornament Wall Decor Rustic Black Distressed

Up for sale is a cut and carved star ornament that I made by hand from pine wood. I used a jigsaw to cut the shape and then filed it down to crisp up the edges. The ornament is painted in a black chalk paint, distressed, and then decorated with a beautiful primitive burlap pouch filled with pip berries and dried Spanish moss. I tied a rustic jingle bell around the top of the star and used hand spun checkered fabric as the hanger.

It’s an adorable and versatile decoration which can be propped on a mantle, hung by a nail, or even used as a Christmas ornament.
