Primitive Quilted Ditty Bag ~Autumn Colonial Wall Hanging, Peg Rail Hanger ~ Fall Autumn Floral Hanging, Antique Quilted Decor

A unique, one of a kind Primitive Quilt Ditty bag hanger. I rescued this antique quilt from an estate sale hosted in an old barn. It was worn and tattered, but I had so many ideas on how to repurpose it. I enjoy bringing new life to old quilts in particular; they each tell a story and have been around for many generations. This quilt had the most beautiful orange and turquoise hues with small calico florals. It makes the perfect primitive wall decor or Peg Rail Hanger. It would also look great propped up on a mantle or inside your primitive colonial cupboards. The hanging display features dry fall and autumn florals, such as wheat and sweet Annie, miniature dry pumpkins, and a primitive grubby candle that is battery operated and on a timer. It flickers beautifully and gives off such warmth to a dark room.

One of a kind. Please note, as with any old quilt that has been rescued and repurposed, there may be some surface flaws, including tears, rips, or stains. I always leave these features as is since they add to the character.
